Donald Trump has refused to be ambushed by Iran into a military confrontation for many fundamental reasons, including a keenness to retain control of the timing of how worldwide issues are managed.

The news came Saturday outside the White House after the President said issues with Iran are not over oil supply but about making sure the country does not have nuclear weapons.

The Iran nuclear deal, from which Trump pulled the USA out, was also a show of good will on Iran's part that its nuclear program would always remain peaceful.
