The disgraced Hollywood executive has reportedly reached a $44 million deal with sexual misconduct accusers, board members of his former production studio, and the NY attorney general's office.

The producer of award-winning films such as "The King's Speech", "Silver Linings Playbook" and "Shakespeare in Love" has admitted to wrongdoing and sought professional help, but has categorically denied any allegations of nonconsensual sex.

Attorney Adam Harris, who is representing the former board members of Weinstein's production company, spoke to WSJ on Thursday afternoon after appearing in bankruptcy court to discuss the settlement with a judge presiding over the case.

A lawyer for Bob Weinstein told Judge Mary Walrath of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware, on Thursday that a deal was in place between the parties, The Wall Street Journal reported.

A representative for Mr Weinstein and Weinstein Company did not immediately respond to request for comment.
