Temperatures could reach record highs over Easter weekend

Most of the UK will enjoy clear skies from Good Friday to Easter

Easter morning will be chilly with lows near 40 degrees. There is also a high pollen count forecast, making it a bad day for hay fever sufferers.

According to Met Eireann, today will see the warmest weather in the west and midlands with dry weather and breaking sunshine throughout the rest of the country.

More rain is possible in central Pennsylvania through Easter, but the wettest weather will be in New England.
