"Full year delivery guidance was stated in the release to have been "reaffirmed" at the prior level of 360-400K units, in our view undermining a key tenet of CEO Elon Musk's legal defense against the SEC", he wrote.

One of the most significant lessons of the hearing was something that didn't come up: stripping Musk of his job as Tesla's CEO.

On Wednesday evening, Tesla released its final numbers for deliveries during the first quarter of 2019, disappointing investment firms who had overestimated the automaker's total performance and sending stocks plummeting.

Musk's lawyers countered that the earlier tweet merely restated a forecast he had given on January 30, when he said Model 3 production could total 350,000 to 500,000 vehicles.

Mexico's foreign minister, Marcelo Ebrard, also noted commercial traffic at the US-Mexico border had slowed at several crossings. Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said Friday his country was doing its part to fight migrant smuggling.

Tesla cited a "massive increase in deliveries in Europe and China" and chalked the delivery troubles up to "many challenges encountered for the first time" in a statement detailing its first-quarter production and deliveries.

Ben Baller, celebrity jeweler, actor and musician, apparently ended in an unpleasant predicament when he, by his own admission, became trapped in his Tesla auto after the vehicle's doors suddenly refused to open.

Tesla shares dropped below the $270 mark this week, Wall Street is now focusing closely on the $250 figure which Tesla shares have not closed below since March 2017.

Tesla Inc. (TSLA.O) slumped in early trading after reporting a record decline in deliveries during the first quarter, stoking concern demand is slackening for the Model 3 sedan it introduced less than two years ago.

Maybe alluding that the track was a joke, Musk linked to an article about the rap ahead of April Fool's Day, tweeting, "Making The Onion articles real".

But in an apparent violation of the settlement Musk tweeted on 19 February that "Tesla made 0 cars in 2011, but will make around 500k in 2019", meaning 500,000 vehicles.

'Deliveries for year still estimated to be about 400k'.

Tesla said it ended the quarter with "sufficient cash on hand".

Two-time champion Alonso is driving a contemporary F1 vehicle for the first time since last year's Abu Dhabi finale. It seemed to me you could brake later and later and the vehicle would have made the turn anyway.
