Celebrities, Like Queen Latifah, Who've Defended Jussie Smollett After Arrest

As investigators searched for the truth, they arrested two men in connection with the alleged crime-Obabinjo Osundairo and Abimbola Osundairo- who were quickly released after police obtained information that claimed Jussie staged the attack.

One of the unnamed nurses who was sacked, claims to CBS Chicago that she never herself even accessed Smollett's chart.

In a statement to Fox News on Thursday, a spokesperson for the force confirmed that "an internal investigation has been opened".

In January, Smollett told police that he was attacked by two masked men as he was walking home from a sandwich shop in the early morning on Jan. 29.

Only MCU newcomer Lashana Lynch , playing a fellow pilot who is Danvers' best friend and surrogate family, truly stands out. Jackson's many, many wildly varied film roles over the years, rarely has he had much opportunity to flex his singing voice.

Reportedly, the staffers got in trouble for improperly reviewing the actor's medical records, specifically for gaining access to his medical chart.

An employee in another department came to her desk and asked if Smollett been admitted under an alias, the worker said, adding that she didn't ask why the information was needed because she believed it to be a professional request. The actor said the men yelled racial slurs at him and threatened his life while pouring an unknown substance on him.

The reports turned out to be correct, as Smollett was subsequently arrested and charged with filing a false police report. However, TMZ reported the Federal Bureau of Investigation said the Chicago Police were "overstating" and "went too far" when they said Jussie sent a hateful January 22 letter to himself. Smollett has pleaded not guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct.

Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson may have also gone too far when he said Jussie paid the brothers $3,500 to stage the attack.

While the odds are seemingly stacked against Smollett, Latifah isn't the only star who has rallied their support for the actor.

Apparently, there has been an enormous amount of "inaccurate" information, and the organization wants to know who is putting it out there.
