Steelers May Have a Deal in Place for Antonio Brown

Report: Eagles have no interest in trading for Antonio Brown

The Raiders, Broncos and Cardinals are among the teams with the most interest in trading for Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports.

Rapaport added that 3 new teams had joined in the running for Brown in the last 48 hours, while suspected potential suitors, the Arizona Cardinals and New York Jets, had officially withdrawn themselves from negotiations. Those three are the Raiders, Redskins and Titans. If Brown is still on the Steelers on March 17, they'll owe him a $2.5 million roster bonus.

Antonio Brown reportedly could be traded this week. If the Steelers get enough return for him, this trade should work out well for Pittsburgh, Brown and his new employer.

With three first-round picks in the 2019 NFL Draft along with the No. 35 pick which falls at the start of the second round, the Raiders have the draft capital to make this happen.

The Oakland Raiders certainly need help at the wide receiver position, as they traded away Amari Cooper during the 2018 National Football League season, leaving the team with a gaping hole atop their depth chart.
