Zoia will appear in a Toronto courthouse Wednesday morning.

One resident of the building from which the chair was thrown said she was angry when she learned what happened.

Marcella Zoia, of Toronto, faces charges in the disturbing incident that was captured on video and posted to social media, drawing outrage from across the city.

Her lawyer said that Zoia wishes it never happened, will never do it again, and has faced intense scrutiny since the incident. "Of course, she would never wish anyone would be hurt", said Greg Leslie, her lawyer.
