Vice president Yemi Osinbajo’s chopper Saturday crashed in Kabba Kogi state Vanguard gathered

Osinbajo's chopper crash-landed at Kabba in Kogi state while on a campaign tour on Saturday, February 2, 2019. The VP, and other passengers, however, escaped unhurt, and he has continued with his visit.

"The NAF wishes to state categorically that the helicopter that crashed in Kabba does not belong to the NAF or 011 PAF".

The PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who posted his reaction on his social media handle, said: "Dear Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, I just received news of the crash of your helicopter in Kabba, Kogi State". A statement by its national publicity secretary, Malam Lanre Issa Onilu, the statement said it was heartwarming that Osinbajo is safe and sound along with his aides after the crash.
