Wind Chill Advisory now, but even colder air on the way

A Wind Chill Advisory for those north of the metro will remain in place through 9am. The real blast of cold arrives Thursday night and into Friday.

According to the weather alert, issued at 7:08 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, and ended at 11:21 a.m., a multi-day episode of very cold wind chills was expected.

Temperatures will struggle to make it above zero tomorrow afternoon, and wind chills will stay in the low teens below zero. Blizzard conditions are possible and forecasted snow accumulations are between 3 and 7 inches.
