'Criminal Minds' set to end after 15 seasons on CBS

"Criminal Minds" will be coming to an end after one more season, Entertainment Tonight reports.

On Twitter, fans reacted with disappointment when they learned the show, about a group Federal Bureau of Investigation profilers from the Behavioral Analysis Unit, would wrap up after more than 300 episodes. Season 14 is now in production with its season finale set to air on February 6.

The network has renewed the cop drama, a relatively reliable performer for CBS, for a 15th and final season. The final season will consist of 10 episodes. "We are so proud to have aired it", Amy Reisenbach, CBS' EVP current programs told the outlet. It speaks to everything that we do best, which is to air quality television.

In the event that Machado does not sign with them, they would feel even more pressure to sign Harper. Mark Feinsand of MLB.com wrote that there is "momentum building" toward Harper going back to D.C.

Season 13 of Criminal Minds will air on Fox (DStv channel 125) at 19:55 on Friday, 18 January.
