R. Kelly Under Investigation in Georgia Following New Documentary's Abuse Allegations: Report

She appeared in the Lifetime documentary "Surviving R. Kelly".

Foxx's plea comes after reports that authorities in Fulton County, Georgia launched a criminal investigation into Kelly, who is alleged to have previously abused and otherwise mistreated women in an Atlanta-area home.

Singer R. Kelly is reportedly being investigated in multiple jurisdictions following the release of a Lifetime docuseries, "Surviving R. Kelly", which explores allegations that the Grammy victor sexually abused several victims over a span of decades.

Schumer and Pelosi managed to draw more viewers than Trump
The president has maintained he will declare a "national emergency" to obtain border wall funds if the talks aren't fruitful. Lawmakers also are anxious about missed paychecks for government workers Friday.

"In order to have an investigation we have to have victims and witnesses who are willing to come forward with information", Foxx said.

The series "Surviving R. Kelly" began airing last week on the Lifetime TV channel, bringing decades of abuse allegations against the "Pied Piper of R&B" to nearly 20 million viewers. Women including the singer's ex-wife Andrea Kelly have claimed to have suffered from abuse at the hands of the singer.

At a Tuesday news conference, Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx called on potential victims and witnesses to come forward following the "deeply disturbing" allegations in the documentary. "Allegations of domestic violence or sexual assault require someone to say what they've seen, heard or experienced". We're told investigators have also made contact with R. Kelly's camp. The report doesn't say what the relationship between Mason and Kelly is.

"I'm gonna do harm to you and your family", said Mason, based on an incident report.

The case was presented to a Magistrate Judge who issued a warrant in July, citing "terroristic threats and acts".

In one clip from the night, Kelly - wearing a fur coat, backwards red baseball cap, and dark sunglasses - is seen performing a song to what appears to be excited fans as they sing along and film the moment with their phones. It's unclear if the caller was just pranking Kelly, or if the person really thought there was an arrest warrant ... but cops tell us they routinely respond to such calls ... just to make sure.

Oscars 2019: Kevin Hart says he definitely won't return as host
There's no more conversation about it ..." I'm over that, I'm over the moment, and I'm about today. DeGeneres revealed that she had called The Academy and asked them to bring Hart back as host.

In 2008, a Cook County jury found Kelly not guilty on 14 counts of child pornography charges. Despite his legal troubles a decade ago, he still retains a following.
