House Democrats target Whitaker's involvement in 'scam' company

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Wednesday blocked two senators from bringing up bipartisan legislation to protect Mueller's investigation from any interference by Trump.

He added: "These are Angry People, including the highly conflicted Bob Mueller, who worked for Obama for 8 years".

Trump's legal team has asked him to refrain from criticizing Mueller and the Russian Federation investigation on Twitter, and the president laid off in the period before the November midterm elections.

Many critics of the president see nixing Mr. Sessions and replacing him with Mr. Whitaker as a way to curtail the Mueller investigation.
