Ice-T arrested for driving through a bridge toll without paying

According to TMZ, rapper and actor, Ice-T aka Tracy Lauren Marrow, was pulled over by the Port Authority of NY and New Jersey after blowing through an E-ZPass toll booth on I-95.

Ice was arrested by Port Authority police for what has been called 'toll evasion'.

The actor, 60, whose real name is Tracy Marrow, was driving a brand new McLaren sports vehicle when he was stopped just before 7am on Wednesday, a Port Authority Police spokeswoman said. He approached on the New Jersey side and tried to pass in the E-ZPass lane, for drivers who prepay with a transmitter, but his didn't work. Cops got a little extra. Coulda just wrote a ticket.

He later tweeted a photo of himself filming scenes in Manhattan for "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", in which he plays Sgt. Odafin Tutuola. However, a source tells ET that there was no E-ZPass transmitter in his sports vehicle.

That order remained in effect until just before midnight, after police determined the suspect had left the area. University officials ordered students to stay in place for about three hours as they searched for the gunman.

Ice-T apparently "didn't realize that" and continued driving on. He has 7 of them in his different cars, however, didn't have it in the new McLaren, which he says was delivered from California. The actor later explained to the site that he just forgot to bring his E-ZPass with him - he has seven of them scattered in his many cars but forgot to put one inside his new ride.

The actor was released the same day in just enough time to make it to the set of Law & Order: SVU.
