Kavanaugh's Freshman Roommate James Roche Says Kavanaugh Lied

James Roche, the Yale roommate of SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh also mentioned by Kit Winter, the gay man who talked with NY magazine about his experience rooming with Kavanaugh, appeared on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 last night.

'When Brett started saying things about his drinking, and his use of certain words, sexually oriented words, I knew he was lying, because he was my roommate, ' Roche said in the interview.

University professor Christine Blasey Ford has said Judge was a witness when Kavanaugh allegedly sexually assaulted her at a party in 1982-when they were high school students in Maryland.

Roche added that Kavanaugh was also a "heavy drinker" and "became aggressive and belligerent when he was drunk".

During the testimony, Kavanaugh said he occasionally drank but never enough to forget details of the night before or was inebriated to the point of blacking out.

Deborah Ramirez says "it is US Senators who are deliberately ignoring his behavior", in a statement through her lawyer John Clune.

Flake on Friday voted in favor of moving Kavanaugh's confirmation forward after indicating Thursday he was satisfied with the FBI's probe.

"I know Debbie, and I know from my experience with her that there is zero chance that she is making up this story", he said. Ramirez went public with allegations that while in his first year at Yale University, Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh placed his penis in front of her and caused her to involuntarily touch it during a drunken dormitory party.

The FBI also did not speak with Kavanaugh.

It appears he will not be given the opportunity, however.

The Senate is expected to vote, Friday, October 5, 2018, to cut off debate to proceed to a confirmation vote this weekend.

Ramirez and nine others were questioned during the FBI's week-long investigation into the accusations against Kavanaugh. "If I were looking to understand the facts, then I would look for people who had firsthand information about it and I'd try and determine what they know and didn't know, and that hasn't happened".

Indiana University professor Bill Scheuerman says several other classmates who contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation never received responses.

President Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was not an ideal candidate for the seat considering his views on Roe v. Wade - a landmark decision on the issue of the constitutionality of laws that criminalized or restricted access to abortions.

In the Slate op-ed, Roche notes he was raised in a Republican family - his mother was a Republican state representative in CT and "my father owns a MAGA hat". But he lied, under oath, like it was nothing.

"I did not want to come forward", he wrote in the op-ed.

Lending further credence to the alumni, two other men, who attended Boston College with Quinn, said he had taught them the game and they played it.

"I don't think that's disqualifying", he said. "And I can tell you that he would come home and he was incoherent, stumbling". "We are not from the Washington, D.C. area", they wrote.
