Mohamed Salah celebrates his Puskas-winning goal against Everton.

During a ceremony on Monday evening, Mo was awarded the Puskás Award for best goal scored in 2018 to honour his strike against Everton where he finished into the top right-hand corner from an incredibly tight angle.

Ten goals were shortlisted for the award, with many pundits predicting a win for Gareth Bale's acrobatic volley in the Champions League final for Real Madrid against Liverpool or Cristiano Ronaldo's similarly memorable overhead kick against Juventus.
