Apparently, Donald Trump is convinced 3000 Americans losing their lives because of the natural disaster is nothing but a hoax to make him look bad.
However Trump implied the death toll was revised for political reasons.
A massive emergency supply of bottled water that FEMA brought to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria leveled the island last summer still sits untouched on a sun-drenched airport runaway.
The death toll study was commissioned by Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rosselló, a member of Puerto Rico's "New Progressive Party". But's important to understand, the number of people who died because of Maria did not suddenly jump from 64 to 2,975.

People online were aghast that the president would somehow blame Democrats for an accurate death toll being reported.
Cora, who is Puerto Rican, called the comments "disrespectful".
The politics of the Thursday-morning tweets are rough. Chef José Andrés, whose charity fed thousands on the island in the aftermath of the storm, said Trump is "the face of no shame". Some Puerto Ricans are still without power.
"I pray that his response to the current disaster unfolding along the East Coast will be better and more empathetic", he said.
"This is what denial following neglect looks like", declared San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz in response to Trump's tweets.
"You will never take away our self respect".
Djokovic better than Roger Federer at his best for consistency- Wilander

Kaniewski defended the decision, amid a tense time for the agency, as President Trump lauded the agency's handling of the hurricane and disputed an analysis that put the death toll at almost 3,000 people - while Hurricane Florence started slamming into the Carolinas.

What's the USA political reaction?
With his comments on Thursday, Trump didn't just kick a hornets nest - instead, he bludgeoned it with a barbed-wire baseball bat and outrage exploded across Twitter.
And yet, per his tweets, somehow the president is the victim in all this.
Congressman Luis Gutierrez, a Democrat, said the president was "delusional". The loss of any life is tragic; the extent of lives lost as a result of Maria is heart wrenching.
NASA sees Hurricane Florence open an evil-looking eye
Forecasters said Florence could become an extremely unsafe major hurricane sometime Monday and remain that way for days. NASA's Aqua satellite caught Hurricane Florence developing an eye Sunday as the storm ramped up its intensity.
Ryan said the numbers were "a function of a devastating storm that hit an isolated island", and added, "that's no one's fault".
"Those are just the facts of what happens", Ryan added.
Katie Pavlich said there can be valid questions about how death tolls are determined and whether the federal or local government is more responsible, but that's an argument for another time.
"FEMA put that water out on that airstrip for the objective of getting it out of containers, so that there would be no cost to us and no cost to the taxpayer", he said.
Ottmar Chavez, head of the General Services Administration (GSA) in Puerto Rico, said he only became aware of the water bottles on Tuesday. "So the United States has used Puerto Rico as a bank account and now turns around and says, 'Well, Puerto Rico was really screwed up.' No, thank you".
