Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp: Fabinho 'needs time to adapt' before debut

Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Fabinho could make his debut after the worldwide break.

"He could have been in the squad, of course, but it's quite hard to make the squad at the moment because they are all fit". That's the only reason.

But Leicester came back strongly after the break, and, after Joe Gomez blocked James Maddison's goal-bound effort, Wes Morgan failed to sort his feet out from point-blank range. He already makes big steps in the last few weeks.

Fabinho will join up with Brazil for friendlies against the United States on September 7 and El Salvador on September 11, along with Liverpool teammates Alisson and Roberto Firmino.

Eagles QB Carson Wentz still hasn’t been cleared for contact
Wentz has been doing some work during camp but has still not yet been cleared for contact. Wentz not playing in Week 1 doesn't make how he looked the past few weeks mean any less.

"Hopefully now Fabinho has games with Brazil, and then after he comes back we have games, games, games", the ex-Borussia Dortmund boss added. Meanwhile, we go One-on-One for a fascinating career reflective with Dimitar Berbatov, remember Manchester City when they were bobbins, give England 22 tips for 2022, meet Marlon Harewood: ride pimper - and much, much more.

"It looked like we didn't need all of them because we played a consistent lineup, but the level in training was high [and] because of that, it's all cool".

"It was unlucky", Klopp said.

"I'm sure when I watch the game back it'll tell the same story that I feel right now".

Colin Kaepernick has new deal with Nike though he's not in NFL
President Donald Trump has called players who "disrespect" the USA flag " sons of bitches " and called for them to be sacked. Even if it means sacrificing everything", reads one of the ads with Kaepernick's face on it.

"But how he plays at the moment, there's no doubt he should be in that group".

With Ragnar Klavan leaving this summer and both Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren dealing with injuries across pre-season, it left Gomez as the only fit alternative to partner Virgil van Dijk at the heart of Liverpool's defence. "It's like when our centre-halves play passes", Klopp told reporters. "We had these situations but they had them as well, so we are the deserved victor and that's the only thing I'm interested in", Klopp added.

"I won't be arrogant of saying that I will keep doing this".

"We've got a few big games when we come back but I think all the lads are just excited to go away with their worldwide teams now and some get a break and we'll come back and we've obviously got a big game against Tottenham. I've got great people around me like Virg and the whole team to learn from and keep developing".
