The James Bond franchise has lost the next 007 and a director.
A replacement for Boyle, who won the best director Oscar for Slumdog Millionaire, has yet to be announced.
It is unclear on how Boyle's departure will affect the movie's USA theatrical release of November 8, 2019.
US President says will attend November WWI parade in Paris
The claim comes hours after the Defense Department had already said the parade wouldn't happen this year. Yesterday, the Pentagon announced that the date of the parade would likely be pushed back to 2019.
A statement said at the time: "We are delighted to announce that the exceptionally talented Danny Boyle will be directing Daniel Craig in his fifth outing as James Bond in the 25th instalment of the franchise".
So Boyle leaving the project just three months later is a real shock.
Danny Boyle will no longer direct the new James Bond film due to "creative differences". He'd revealed back in March that he was taking on the project and that a script was underway, but a brief joint statement by Daniel Craig, Barbara Broccoli, and Michael G. Wilson reveal that things have changed. He had always been in MGM and Eon's sights to board a James Bond movie, dating back to 2012's "Skyfall" and 2015's "Spectre".
Novak Djokovic advances to Western & Southern Open final
The Serbian first had to finish his Round of 16 match against Dimitrov that was called late last night due to weather. The Serb, seeded 10th, will play the victor of Saturday's second semi-final between Roger Federer and David Goffin .
As noted in the caption, Boyle "decided" to part ways with the Bond team over the usual "creative differences". The Bond films might operate on a formula, but their most successful films are the ones that play with it, and Boyle is fantastic at playing with formula.
Bond 25 is scheduled to come out in the USA on November 8, 2019.
Mueller: Papadopoulos could face brief prison time
Federal investigators have imposed restrictions on his travel until his sentencing, which is now scheduled for September 7. Papadopoulos's wife, Simona Mangiante, is urging her husband to break off the plea deal and stop cooperating with Mueller.
Of course, Daniel Craig is back as 007 but nothing else is known about the film.
