Sarah Huckabee Sanders Doesn’t Deny Existence of Trump N-Word Tape

President Donald Trump has already branded Omarosa Manigault Newman a

Remember When Omarosa Got Married at a Trump Hotel? Take a Walk Down Memory Lane

Manigault Newman has said she was offered $15,000 to sign a non-disclosure agreement when she was sacked last Decemberthat was, "as harsh and restrictive as any I'd seen in all my years of television".

"When I can tell my story, it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear", she told ABC News in December. She later said she heard the tape herself.

These non-disclosure agreements could represent more of the same: Trump tried to constrain White House employees in a manner that helped him politically, with little regard for the interests of the rest of us.

One of the people allegedly featured on the tape is Katrina Pierson, an adviser to Trump's re-election campaign who served as a spokeswoman for his 2016 campaign.

And she accused Mr Trump of lying to the American people, saying he "doesn't even know what's happening in his White House".

Manigault Newman clearly wasn't the only one who felt she needed to protect herself with audio recordings.

Ms Manigault Newman has come under heavy criticism for revealing she made the recording in the White House's Situation Room, where top-level security decisions are made by the president and where phones and recording devices are banned.

Fight for Afghan city rages despite govt claim of upper hand
Afghan Army Chief of Staff Mohammad Sharif Yaftali said heavy fighting was taking place in Ghazni to push back the militants. These and other moves boosted the number of US troops in Afghanistan by at least 3,500, to a total of more than 14,000.

Ms Manigault Newman says she has more recordings.

"Just having him call me out of my name, call me a lowlife, say that I'm not intelligent, this is what he does when it comes to African-Americans", she said.

Manigault-Newman fired back: "They get it, and they aren't happy about you or your goals". "Not only is this flat-out false (I've never heard such a thing), but Omarosa didn't even make an effort to call or email me to verify".

A lawyer for Manigault Newman declined immediate comment. While many of her claims have not been corroborated and could be considered controversial at best, others seem quite legitimate. "She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok".

"I can't guarantee anything but I can tell you that the president addressed it directly", she said, referring to his tweet on Monday.

"That's the extent I can go in discussing that as well", she said.

"The president is an equal opportunity person that calls things like he sees it and always fights fire with fire", she said.

Airline employee who stole plane highlights insider threats
However, she acknowledged that Port of Seattle police weren't on the airfield when the plane was stolen. "Oh man. Irwin Downes recorded a cloud of smoke billowing from Ketron Island after the crash.

Manigault Newman's exit does highlight the lack of diversity among Trump's top aides.

The re-emerged in recent days, amid the release of her tell-all book, "Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the White House". He also has targeted black NFL players for kneeling in social protest during the national anthem.

Omarosa married Newman - her second husband - at Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., where she walked down the aisle in a lace pink dress, all while she was employed at the White House.

The offer raises fresh question about the ways that White House aides are being offered safe landing spots after they leave. Prior to the campaign, Manigault Newman had been a contestant on Trump's reality-TV game show, "The Apprentice". However, the special counsel does have the option to subpoena Trump, but that could drag on for months, King said.

When asked to clarify on NBC's "Meet the Press", Manigault Newman said she listened to the recording after finishing the book during a trip to Los Angeles.

But surreptitious tapes in Trump's world are nothing new, with the president himself once suggesting he secretly recorded fired FBI Director James Comey (who responded by saying: "Lordy, I hope there are tapes").

CBS News' parent company, CBS Corp (CBS.N), owns Simon and Schuster Inc, which published her book.
