The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) warned consumers on Monday to stay away from certain beef, pork and poultry salads and wraps sold at stores including Kroger, Trader Joe's, Gordon Food Service and Walgreen's.
After an FDA analysis confirmed the presence of Cyclospora in an expired salad mix containing romaine lettuce, Fresh Express began informing companies that received products of concern about the results.
The salads and wraps were produced between July 15 and 18 and the "Best by", "Enjoy by", "Best if sold by" or "Sell by" dates will range between July 18 and July 23.

The products recalled from Trader Joe's include the Caesar salad with chicken, tarragon chicken salad wrap and the Chinese inspired salad with chicken.
Del Monte Fresh Produce in June issued a voluntary recall of vegetable trays sold in six Midwest states, including IL, due to potential cyclospora contamination. More than 286 people became ill and at least 11 have been hospitalized from that outbreak as of July 26, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Last month, Chicago-based McDonald's temporarily stopped selling salads at 3,000 restaurants in 14 states, mostly in the Midwest, after a cyclospora outbreak sickened hundreds of customers, including 228 reported cases in IL alone, according to the state's Department of Public Health.
