Then at 7:44 p.m.: "We have at least six fatalities we're trying to deal with and we're trying to dive for some more missing people ... and we're treating some, obviously the injured ones".
He confirmed there were children on the boat, but not whether any of them were among the deceased.

The duck boat that sank was one of two still operating during the storm, Rader said.
Rader says weather is believed to have caused the boat to capsize.
The company that builds ducks, Ride the Ducks International, agreed in 2016 to pay a $1.35 million fine after one of the vehicles collided with a bus in Seattle, killing five international students. The vessels were first used during World War II - perhaps most famously during the Allies' D-Day invasion of Normandy in 1944. Ride the Ducks is a national company that has multiple locations across the USA, including Guam.
"While the incident did not occur in Branson, we are hoping and praying for all involved", the post said.
Injured when lava bomb hits Hawaii tour boat
