Former President Obama in ancestral home Kenya to launch sister’s project

Former US President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle take a group photo with rangers at Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.

Mr Obama is expected to inaugurate the Sauti Kuu Foundation's project which comprises a sports facility and vocational training centre.

Obama landed in the country on Sunday afternoon and held talks first with President Kenyatta at State House then later with Odinga at Villa Rosa Kempinski in Nairobi.

From Kenya, he will head to South Africa to deliver the keynote address at the 16th Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture in Johannesburg.
