Unseen for weeks, Melania Trump tweets she's 'feeling great'

MIA Melania Is Choosing To Stay Off The Grid

‘Missing’ Melania Trump: Mystery, rumors grow after nearly three weeks

After rampant speculation about Melania Trump's whereabouts following an extended absence, a reporter announced that he spotted her in the White House Wednesday.

Or so she claims to the media, who apparently, according to her, have been "working overtime speculating where I am". Rest assured, I am here at the @WhiteHouse with my family, feeling great, and working hard on behalf of children and the American people!' she wrote.

"Melania Trump's last public appearance was on May 10, when she accompanied the president to Andrews Air Force base in Maryland to welcome home three American hostages from North Korea".

A reporter for CNBC tweeted Wednesday that he saw the First Lady walking with her aides in the West Wing. Or her kidney condition, which the White House said led to her being hospitalized in the first place, is more serious than had initially been reported.

'There's no guidebook to being first lady.

No explanation has since been forthcoming on why the president's wife has not appeared at any big events alongside her husband, including Monday's Memorial Day commemoration at Arlington Cemetery.

She did not appear to be at the window, intensifying speculation.

Spokesperson Stephanie Grisham binned those rumours wholesale, telling Politico "we deal with conspiracy theories all the time", and reiterating that "she was hospitalized for nearly a week and is now home and recovering". Others say she's cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller.

"Sadly, we deal with conspiracy theories all the time - so this is nothing new, just more silly nonsense", said Grisham, brushing off a rumor making the rounds that Trump has moved back to New York City.

Still, suspicion was stirred on social media.

Yet 16 days later, the most anyone has heard from Trump has come via Twitter, with just one addressing her medical procedure.

It seems that Melania Trump, 48, has learned the art of the Twitter clap back from her husband Donald Trump, 71. Some doctors familiar with the procedure but not involved in her care said people treated with embolization typically are sent home the same day or the next.
