Battlefield 5: The 9 Big Things We Learned From the Reveal

The highly anticipated first-person shooter game returns back to its roots by setting Battlefield 5 during World War II, similar to what it did with its first franchise release - Battlefield 1942 - released in 2002.

Battlefield 5 takes players back to the lesser known stories of World War II. The single player War Stories mode will also be returning and continues the anthology format of Battlefield 1. The first of these War Stories was also teased, showing that we will be following a young woman who was part of the Norwegian Resistance fighters fighting against German occupation.

Nawaz Sharif 'misquoted' by Indian media, says Abbasi
Arguing before the court, Mr Awan said the statement of Mr Sharif amounted to disrespect for the Constitution and treason. Later, Sharif faced a volley of criticism for his remarks.

Besides for the new modes, just playing the game will also feel new and fresh now thanks to a newly overhauled movement system (for example, you can now drag downed friendly players to safety) as well as additional physics effects like characters reacting to the shockwaves from explosions or being able to shoot grenades in mid-air. It seems like a silly thing to get upset about as DICE doesn't appear to be creating a 100-percent historically accurate game, to begin with.

The Battlefield series is one of the biggest video game franchises on Xbox One. These are 64-player, multipart battles that take place over the course of four in-game days. It sounds like Combined Arms will also have you scrounging for resources as you make it to objectives, raising the stakes further as you need to decide if you can push through or extract early. Unfortunately, not much else was divulged about this mode, but hopefully, we learn more at E3. Players' soldiers can now tow stationary weapons, build fortifications and fix war-torn structures to turn the battlefield to the player's advantage. EA tells us, "Tides of War is DICE's new approach to live services, where players will set out on an epic journey with their Company in unexpected battles throughout World War 2". This is versus how games were released in the past, where updates including new content were expected for free, with the exception of full expansions.

And if North Korea truly has completed its nuclear program, as it says it has, then it no longer needs an active test site anyway. Russian Federation announced Wednesday that Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will travel to North Korea for a visit on May 31.

But what about battle royale? However, like Battlefield 1, DICE is aiming for another "reimagining" of events.
