Cosby juror: I was convinced by comedy icon's deposition

Bill Cosby trial juror says he has 'no doubt' jury came to the right conclusion

But to anyone who questions the verdict, which found Cosby guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent assault: "If you were there, you would say the same thing". "Mr Cosby admitted to giving these quaaludes to women, young women, in order to have sex with him".

And, Snyder, said, the testimony of five other accusers who testified was not necessary for the conviction.

During an interview on breakfast show Good Morning America, Snyder insisted he "didn't know anything" about the case before the trial, as he never watches the news, and confessed he only knew Cosby was an actor, but was a "little too young" to remember his groundbreaking 1980s sitcom The Cosby Show.

But Snyder said that the guilty verdict was not clear when he and the other jurors began their deliberations Wednesday.

The jurors deliberated for nearly 15 hours over two days before announcing the verdict, and on Monday (30Apr18), jury member Harrison Snyder explained it was Cosby's own words which sealed his fate in the criminal retrial.

Kiser also was the victor of the 2017 Campbell Award, given to the nation's top overall player on the field and in the classroom. The Rams made Kiser the Virginia player taken in the 2018 NFL Draft when they chose him with the 147th overall selection.

"I think it was his deposition, really", said Harrison Snyder, 22, of Montgomery County in the USA state of Pennsylvania, in an interview with ABC News. He said the testimony, far more explicit than what Cosby said in his lone police statement, showed "exactly what's going on" in his mind.

The guilty verdict came less than a year after another jury deadlocked on the charges.

It will be telling to see what the rest of the jury - there were five women and seven men, and three jurors said they or a family member had been the victim of a sexual assault - feel the same way as this young, white, male juror, who said that it was Cosby's words, rather than the words of his victims, that clinched his decision.

A former Temple University employee alleges that the entertainer drugged and molested her in 2004 at his home in suburban Philadelphia.

Snyder revealed that some people believe he made the right decision, where as others allegedly think the star is still innocent.

Snyder, 22, was referring to a deposition Cosby gave in a civil lawsuit brought by Constand. "Our decision was not influenced in any way by factors other than what we heard and saw in the courtroom", she wrote, per NBC News.

"Not once were race or the #MeToo movement ever discussed, nor did either factor in our decision", the statement read. "I didn't even really know about the #MeToo movement".

Judge Steven T. O'Neill, who presided over both the first trial and the retrial, ruled against the defense on this issue both times.

He cited the testimony of prosecutors' first witness - Dr Barbara Ziv, an expert in sexual assault victim behaviour - as key to explaining away numerous attacks the defense lobbed at Constand for inconsistencies in the story she told police. He could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison for each count on which he was convicted.
