They said "discarded DNA" had been used to match him to crimes attributed to the so-called Golden State Killer - suspected of 12 murders, 51 rapes and more than 120 burglaries.

"It feels like the last task for Michelle, to bring him her questions at the end of her book - just to go, 'My wife had some questions for you, '" he said.

It's been a unusual time for comedian Patton Oswalt, as his late wife Michelle McNamara's newly published true crime book I'll Be Gone in the Dark is very much in the spotlight after the arrest of a man suspected to be the Golden State Killer. But on Wednesday, I'll Be Gone In the Dark shot up to the top of Amazon's best-seller list and overnight, the online retailer was sold out of all of its copies.

"Just the fact that they said the book didn't help but then said, 'We've got the Golden State Killer, ' it's a bit contradictory", Jensen said.

On Wednesday, Oswalt also tweeted a picture of his late wife with an emotional message.

During his evidence session earlier this week, Kogan had declined to answer several questions about the NDA he had with Facebook. The past couple of months have seen public calls for people to remove Facebook from their lives.

Oswalt made it his mission to complete her work - one she had been researching for almost their entire 12-year marriage - after her death.

Michelle McNamara was on a mission to capture the Golden State Killer - and after her sudden death in 2016, husband Patton Oswalt has been celebrating her achievements from beyond the grave.

"I'm waking up every day and living", he said.

During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers just hours after DeAngelo's arrest, Patton Oswalt celebrated Michelle McNamara's legacy, saying her book "really amped up all of the interest in the case and really put a lot of focus on this". Instead, they credited her for have helping keep public interest and "tips coming in". The comedian, known for work on The King Of Queens, Ratatouille, The Goldbergs and more, believes McNamara's work as a true crime writer and her dedication to the 1970s case may have helped lead to the arrest of 72-year-old suspect Joseph James DeAngelo.

McNamara "didn't care about getting any shine on herself", Oswalt wrote on Twitter, comparing her to Frances McDormand's unassuming Detective Marge Gunderson in the 1996 film "Fargo". "And I know she was taking Adderall in the mornings to get up and some - you know, before she died, the three days before she died, she really didn't sleep because there was all this new breaking stuff on the case", Oswalt said.

Caster's reign may be ended by new IAAF rules
I think the IAAF is setting a kind of standard in terms of how they differentiate between men and women and what is acceptable. Other athletes believe she has an unfair advantage because of the high levels of naturally occurring testosterone in her body.

"I finally had the name and the face that we've been seeking for seven years, the name and the face that Michelle died trying to uncover", he said. "You did good. You aimed a light and helped the hunters catch a monster".

By sheer coincidence, the trio gathered in IL on Tuesday night to celebrate the book, just hours before DeAngelo was taken into custody.

"One day soon, you'll hear a auto pull up to your curb, an engine cut out". You'll hear footsteps coming up your front walk, like they did for Edward Wayne Edwards 29 years after he killed Timothy Hack and Kelly Drew in Sullivan, Wisconsin, like they did for Kenneth Lee Hicks 30 years after he killed Laura Billingsley in Aloha, Oregon.

No side gates are left open. You're long past leaping over a fence.

"This is how it ends for you".

But in a statement released by the club later on Wednesday, the 68-year-old clarified that he had no problem with the timing. If he respects me even 50 per cent of what I respect him we can even be friends in the future.
