McKayla Maroney Says Larry Nassar Abused Her 'Hundreds' of Times

Olympic gymnast and Larry Nassar accuser Jordyn Wieber testified before usa senators Wednesday about ways to protect athletes from sexual abuse. She said Nassar first molested her during an appointment when she was 13, and added the abuse continued "every time I saw him", spanning hundreds of appointments over multiple years. "He didn't say it in a way that was mean or anything like that". "I actually was like, "That makes sense".

McKayla sat down with Savannah Guthrie of NBC News for a Dateline interview, which will air Sunday night at 7 p.m, ET, to open up about Larry's sex abuse scandal.

During Nassar's sentencing hearing in Ingham County back in January, Dantzscher testified she has suffered from anorexia, bulimia, depression and even suicidal thoughts because of her pain from Nassar's abuse.

Nassar was sentenced up to 175 years on Michigan state charges of sexual assault, to go along with a sentence of 40 to 125 years in prison on three counts of sexual assault in Eaton County, Michigan with another 60-year sentence on federal child-pornography charges.

"I think I would've starved at the Olympics if I didn't have him (Nassar) bring me food", she said. "They failed to speak up and they let Nassar assault children".

After previously speaking out against what she considered abusive training methods at the Karolyi Ranch, Dantzscher said that it was in the summer of 2016 when she "began to understand that Larry Nassar had sexually abused me and his procedures were not legitimate medical treatment".

In October, Maroney became the first household name to come forward when she first revealed that she was sexually abused by Nassar from the age of 13 until her retirement from the sport past year. He said another hearing - expected to be held May 22 - may include witnesses from Michigan State, USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic Committee. All they cared about was money, medals, and it didn't seem like anything else.
