Fox News host Laura Ingraham takes week off after David Hogg comments

School shooting survivor and gun control activist David Hogg doubled down on his refusal to accept an apology from Fox News host Laura Ingraham in an interview with CNN on Saturday, as advertisers of her show announced they were ending their relationships with her after she mocked the teenager on Twitter for not getting into his top colleges.

Ingraham's vacation announcement conveniently comes in the wake of 11 of her advertisers (at last count) boycotting her show due to a call from Parkland student David Hogg. Hogg urged his Twitter followers to contact Ingraham's advertisers and several big name sponsors withdrew their advertising.

Hogg responded by tweeting a list of companies that advertise on Ingraham's show and encouraging them to yank their ads from her show.

"She only apologized after we went after her advertisers", Hogg said to the New York Times "It kind of speaks for itself ..." It's time to love thy neighbor, not mudsling at children.
