Daniel Bryan cleared for WWE return after concussions-related retirement

WWE SmackDown: Daniel Bryan returns with Shane McMahon taking leave

Daniel Bryan medically cleared to return to the WWE ring

On Tuesday, it was announced that WWE superstar Daniel Bryan has been cleared to return to competition after being evaluated extensively by the medical team nearly three years after his final WWE match.

Bryan, who formally retired from in-ring competition due to a series of injuries on an episode of Monday Night RAW on February 8, 2016, had been previously cleared by other specialists throughout the country, but WWE wouldn't take the chance to clear him with its own doctors. After sustaining multiple concussions, which led to seizures, Bryan was forced to retire in early 2016. With AJ now the WWE Champion on Bryan's SmackDown Live there is a chance we will get to see it sooner rather than later. After main eventing WrestleMania XXX in one of the most exciting WWE storylines in years, Bryan was forced to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship due to injury. After more than a year of being nearly undeniably the most popular wrestler on the roster, Bryan took home the biggest title in sports entertainment.

With both SmackDown authority figures attacked by Owens and Zayn, many are expecting Bryan to return to the ring at WrestleMania 34 to team with McMahon against the former Ring of Honor wrestlers. Bryan and Bella have talked about his finding Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, which is the use of high-pressure oxygen as a drug to treat more than 70 different cerebral disorders. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Live noted that he's set to team up with Shane McMahon against Owens and Zayn at WrestleMania 34 in two weeks. However, after he left the company in 2014 they went with Daniel Bryan. However, it feels like a lot of the time SmackDown has one big shiny thing it dangles in front of us, then spends the rest of the two hours trying to make you think that shiny thing is up next. Wrestling fans have been torn between wanting Bryan back in the ring, but also understanding how serious an issue concussions are and not wanting him to risk long-term, serious health problems. The first step of this was that Bryan was given a list of doctors to see - if he saw them and got the green light, then he would receive approval from Dr.

Thanking WWE and their doctors, Bryan noted, "First and foremost, they looked at me as the person and not me as the wrestler, and for that I will be forever grateful for them". Bryan rallies back for a bit with his signature running dropkicks and "Yes" kicks, but the numbers game gets to him.

Citizens of the European Union who arrive in the United Kingdom during the transition period will also be granted the same rights. Britain argues it has two other preferred outcomes for the Irish border, both dependent on agreement on future EU-UK trade rules.

Bryan had also previously been open about the fact that his contract as an outside the ring performer expired in September of this year, leading to speculation that he would wait until it expired to return to action outside of the company.
