Democrats and Republicans involved in the race agree on a few things.
Republican congressional candidate Rick Saccone speaks during a campaign event on February 2, 2018, in Bethel Park, Pa. Democrat Conor Lamb has proven to be a stellar candidate.
With anti-Trump fervor simmering, voters troop to the polls in the closely watched 18th congressional district, the working-class corner of southwestern Pennsylvania, to replace a Republican ousted by scandal.
Although Lamb has tried to localize his campaign message and set himself apart from national Democrats, there's one high-profile politician whose support he's specifically enlisted - native Pennsylvanian Joe Biden, who came to the district this week to stump for him.
Emerson College professor Spencer Kimball oversaw a poll in early March that found Lamb had a small lead within the poll's margin of error.
Elizabeth Warren Is Asked About Being Called 'Pocahontas' By Trump
Elizabeth Warren , D-Mass., to take a DNA test to end doubt about having Native American blood grabbed the national spotlight Sunday.
Even some Republicans admit that Lamb, who is also a veteran, is a better candidate.
She decided months ago to back Republican Rick Saccone for one reason: opposition to abortion rights. Democrat Doug Jones defeated Republican Roy Moore in Alabama's special election past year to fill the Senate seat vacated by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and Democrats held onto a House seat in California following Xavier Becerra's appointment to California attorney general.
"With all the millions the've spent, they're not anywhere near where they thought they'd be".
Waters was in Alabama for now-Sen.
So he's hoping that conservative voters see his race against Democrat Conor Lamb as proxy for the national political struggle playing out in Washington.
Kylie Jenner Revealed All The Pregnancy Details You've Been Dying To Know
The report by Star said one such rule states he "must spend a certain amount of hours a week with Stormi and Kylie ". Kylie also told others that there was no need to worry about giving birth because "We were made for this ".
"I'm focused on winning, I'm not going to talk about blame", he told reporters last week.
Last year, Rep. Tim Murphy resigned his seat after reports that he was having an affair.
On Saturday Trump promised that his administration would roll out unspecified "tougher" policies on opioids, and was reportedly met with cheers from the crowd of supporters. Republicans, meanwhile, would be spooked about their prospects in this tempestuous era of Trump, who has twice visited the district on Saccone's behalf, most recently Saturday night. "They have insane uncle Joe Biden", Saccone said Wednesday as the former vice president visited the district. Their investment comes despite the fact that the district as now drawn will cease to exist by this November because of a gerrymandering case that requires the state's districts be redrawn. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has struck down the map, and Lamb is likely to run next fall against Rep. Keith Rothfus (R-PA) in a much less conservative district than the gerrymandered one he's now trying to win. "DACA, they're here. They're good people".
And while other national Republicans want to blame Saccone for most of the mess, they concede that the ideal storm has hit - and may blow over other candidates even in seemingly safe seats if they're not prepared next fall.
