The Timberwolves are signing Derrick Rose for the rest of the season, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Thibodeau coached Rose for five seasons in Chicago, guiding the point guard to an MVP season in 2010-11 - their first campaign together. The Timberwolves did not release the terms, but a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press that the deal is for the remainder of the season.

Pretty much all Rose can do at this point is score, and the Wolves already have the third-best offense in the league, with a net rating of 111.2 points per 100 possessions.
