Android Police Google's Area 120

A Google team at its Area 120 incubator is trying to extend Smart Reply to chat and messaging apps from other companies, according to reports from TechCrunch.

Your Favorite Chat Apps: Reply works with Hangouts, Allo, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Android Messages, Skype, Twitter DMs, and Slack.

If you're interested in testing out Reply and other applications from Area 120 in the future, your best bet is to sign up to join the incubator's Early Access Program. For example, if a message like "We're waiting for you!" comes in, Reply can get your attention and ask you to respond.

A flawless day for PIZZA: Deals in Sumter for National Pizza Day
The ice cream specialty shop chain is giving away free samples of its new "Sweetheart Polar Pizza" from 3 7 p.m. Pizza parlours around the country are offering mad discounts, from entirely free pizzas to half price doughs.

Google's Smart Reply uses the firm's neural network to intelligently analyse a message's content to suggest an appropriate response. But the feature has not been made available to all Android Messages users as of yet.

Replying to common messages received via your Android device will soon be a lot easier.

Spokesperson from Google said in a statement that, "One of the many projects that we're working on within Area 120 is Reply, which suggests smart replies right in notifications from various chat apps". Though it's fairly limited, as is the Smart Reply integration on Project Fi. For instance, users will be given the reply options "Yes", "No", or "I am here" when they receive questions such as "Are you at the restaurant?" or "When can you be home?" Smart replies are now used in Gmail and other Google communication options, allowing business professionals to quickly respond to simple messages. Google is developing an app that will give you a selection of preformatted responses allowing you to reply with just one click of a button.

Southampton boss Pellegrino urges fans not to jeer Van Dijk
Van Dijk actually missed the win over City and made his league debut against Swansea, but things didn't go according to plan. For the first, arriving after just six minutes, Salah spotted Firmino's darting run into the area.

As well as single-tap responses Google is planning to enable automatic replies, for example letting people know when you are busy and can't get to your phone.

Reply will include a variety of other automated features, too.

No release date is now known, but users can fill out a form for a chance to beta test the feature. And you want to be there for people, but also for people in the real world.

It's worth noting smart speakers launched by these brands are mainly based on speech recognition of English. Apple's HomePod hits stores on Friday, but Sonos, which makes competing smart speakers, isn't sweating it.
