The Congress's Vivek Dhakad won the Mandalgarh assembly seat, defeating his BJP rival Shakti Singh Hada by almost 13,000 votes. During the campaign, its candidate Jaswant Yadav argued that Hindus should vote for him and those who are Muslim should support the Congress.

BJP's Rajasthan rout and its scale as the party couldn't register leads in any of the Assembly seats in Ajmer and Alwar Lok Sabha constituencies have indeed been taken note.

In Rajasthan, BJP's rout in Alwar and Ajmer Lok Sabha seats has emboldened Raje's detractors within the party.

While it is clear that the Vasundhara Raje government is facing strong anti-incumbency, the Congress is in a position to exploit the situation because of the presence of strong local leaders. Proud of each and every one of you.

Can these three global firms resolve the USA well being care puzzle?
CVS Health's deal last month to buy the health insurer Aetna for about $69 billion is just one example of the changes underway. Amazon, with 541,900 employees globally as of October, is known for transforming industries.

"It is the Chief Minister's moral responsibility to resign from her post". Since 2014, the BJP has lost six by-polls out of eight and has suffered huge losses in elections to panchayats and municipalities.

Interestingly, the Congress did not win a single seat in Rajasthan during the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

The margins indicate that Congress was able to win votes across different sections of society and resonate the larger narrative of Raje's failures.

After fighting eight bypolls seats in the past fours, Congress tally has reached 25 while BJP was reduced to 160 from 163 in the assembly. The BJP's Ram Swaroop Lamba had got 313,706 votes.

China slams 'wild guesses' in United States nuclear review
The 74-page report, the Pentagon's first since 2010, cast China as "a major challenge to United States interests in Asia". He said the United States is playing up the threat of its nuclear strength.

Even the uptick of communal violence is not helping the BJP in Rajasthan as it did in Uttar Pradesh. In Ajmer where Sachin Pilot lost by 1.8 lakh votes in 2014, the Congress was leading by 80,000 votes.

In the Mandalgarh assembly by-election, Vivek Dhakad of the Congress defeated Shakti Singh Hada of the BJP by 12,976 votes.

Meanwhile, elated Congress Party leaders congratulated each other over their victory. "TMC won both the Noapara and Uluberia by-elections". Only here the party wrested the seat from the Congress which had allied with the Left in the last assembly elections and bagged this seat. The numerically-significant Rajputs have also been seething in the state, first over the "encounter" of gangster Anandpal, a fellow Rajput, and then over the Padmaavat film controversy Some Rajput organisations had announced that they would not vote for the BJP. In both, the BJP came a distant second.
