Elon Musk sold $2M in The Boring Company Flamethrowers in 24 hours

Elon Musk appears to be selling $600 Boring Company flamethrowers now...

Is Elon Musk Now Selling $600 Flamethrowers?

Mr Musk's idea to start selling the weird product began as a joke in December when he pledged that if The Boring Company sold 50,000 limited edition baseball caps, it would start selling flamethrowers. At the time, Musk promised on Twitter that if the company sold 50,000, it would start selling flamethrowers. (Also for sale? A fire extinguisher with a Boring Company sticker on it for $30.) Fans quickly laid down their cash.

Musk has suggested freezeguns and literal dirt as the next hot product sold through the Boring Company's website.

Over the weekend, the pre-order page went live, with Musk teasing a flamethrower "guaranteed to liven up any party!".

SpaceX Conducts First Static Fire Test for Falcon Heavy
The Falcon Heavy in early February is based on public statements by Elon Musk and Gwynne Shotwell, SpaceX's President and COO. The 20-story rocket looks like a Falcon 9 , but with two core stages strapped to its sides, equaling three total.

So it turns out there is a real market for flamethrowers.

The reasoning behind Musk selling small-scale armaments online stems from a joke tweet he made after the company's hats sold out, saying simply "Hats sold out, flamethrowers soon!".

Earlier this week, rumours began to emerge that following a promise in 2017, Tesla founder, Elon Musk, was building a flamethrower.

Lunar eclipse is set to take place January 31
The well-known idiom actually refers to the rare instance when there is a second full moon in a calendar month. If you can't go out to see it, or clouds obscure your view, NASA TV plans to broadcast the entire event.

Whether you're looking to get of rid that spider in the corner, you're exhausted of plowing your driveway in the winter, or you're just looking to liven up the party, Elon Musk has a flamethrower for you! "Works against hordes of the undead or your money back", Musk wrote on Twitter. "World's safest flamethrower!" Mr Musk said of his unusual new product.

As The Washington Post's Jessica Contrera reported in 2015, flamethrowers face limited regulation because they aren't considered a "firearm", which - unlike a flamethrower - is defined by its ability to expel a projectile using an explosive.

The product information page also says that fire extinguisher is sold separately for exorbitant amounts of money (which is United States dollars 30). Those should decide to order one should expect to receive the weapon this spring, notes the store website. Mostly because his hat business was doing so well he started selling flamethrowers.
