The Election Commission on Friday recommended the disqualification of 20 Aam Aadmi Party MLAs, including a minister in the Delhi government, for "violating" the office of profit rules.

The AAP had moved the Delhi HC seeking a stay on the recommendation made by the ECI which had disqualified the 20 MLAs on the office of profit issue. Other MLAs include prominent party leaders like Alka Lamba, Adarsh Shastri, Madan Lal and Sanjeev Jha.
