Roland will be taken to an area hospital for evaluation, police said.

Police say she appeared to have spent much of her time searching for her phone, which was found in her auto. Last heard wearing Remington hat and camp and in a white Jeep Cherokee.

Original report: Houston police are searching for a 29-year-old sports reporter who went missing after telling her friends that she thought someone was following her, according to multiple reports.

It also said that Roland's mother received a text on Sunday from missing daughter's phone number saying: "Hello the owner of this phone Courtney".

ESPN host: 'Trump's af***ing stupid person'
But Nolan's comments don't technically violate the social media guidelines since they were not delivered on social media. Nolan hosts digital shows for ESPN, including the Snapchat version of "SportsCenter" and a podcast.

Authorities say additional information will be released later Monday. As CrimeOnline previously reported, Roland texted her roommate on Saturday and said she had seen a man acting strangely at Wal-mart, and that the same man appeared to have followed her home. The roommate said the blue truck looped back around and parked behind her and Roland got out of her auto and the truck sped off.

Family and friends reported Roland missing at the weekend. Her phone and other items were inside the vehicle. She was found under an overpass at the Interstate 610 West Loop at Richmond, police said.

Roland covers Texas A&M athletics for Rivals, a Yahoo!-owned online publication focusing on college sports.

Police said that they do not suspect any foul play, and have no reason to believe any crimes were committed.

Messages left on phones listed for Roland and for her family members were not returned.

Police said Roland did not appear to know that anyone was looking for her.

Her disappearance Saturday after covering a football camp for top athletes prompted family and friends to use social media as a platform to find her, and Gov. Greg Abbott on Sunday retweeted a plea to help search for her with the hashtag #HelpFindCourtney.
