Ball was one of the three players arrested for shoplifting in China on a team trip overseas.

The move to pull LiAngelo Ball out of UCLA came four weeks after he and two of his UCLA teammates were arrested in China and charged with shoplifting.

LaMelo and LiAngelo - the younger brothers of Los Angeles Lakers starting point guard Lonzo Ball - have plenty of name recognition and accolades as they attempt to find professional landing spots ahead of their National Basketball Association draft turns.

"This shouldn't be all that surprising-freshman LiAngelo is an inch shorter than big brother Lonzo, at 6'5", lacks the point guard skills that make Lonzo an intriguing prospect, and is equipped with the same janky jumper.

Trump then got into a public dispute with Ball's father, LaVar Ball, the outspoken head of a sports apparel company who has two other basketball-playing sons.

Ex-president of Yemen killed by rebels
His death puts the exclamation point on the end of an era in Yemen that had, for all intents and purposes, already come to a close.

Now, according to TMZ, LaVar Ball has made a bold decision regarding his son's future and pulled him out of UCLA.

"It was frightful", LiAngelo said of the jail.

"And didn't get a thank you, but I ain't gonna stress it out", Ball said. The charges were eventually dropped, but not before the worldwide incident made headlines when President Donald Trump tweeted that he helped free the players, which the elder Ball disputed.

Last week, Ball promised he was going to give Trump the $495 Big Baller Brand ZO2 Prime Remix shoes "so he can calm down a little bit", referring to Trump's Twitter tirade when Ball refused to thank him adequately enough for getting his son released from China. "I'd rather be playing".
