According to a Friday afternoon report from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Derrick Rose is mulling over retirement from the National Basketball Association at the age of 28. Why? The repeated injuries are weighing on Rose with a team source telling ESPN, "He's exhausted of being hurt and it's taking a toll on him mentally".
According to the NBA insider, Rose is now away from the team and evaluating his future in basketball as he is "tired of being hurt".
