'CBS This Morning' Leads With Rose Sex Scandal Story

CBS suspends Charlie Rose; PBS halts his show after allegations

Charlie Rose's CBS colleagues react on air: 'There is no excuse for this alleged behaviour'

Kelly's story about Rose came one day after the CBS This Morning anchor was accused of sexual misconduct, including groping and lewd remarks, by eight women in a Washington Post report.

On Monday, Rose was suspended from CBS, and PBS and Bloomberg, who air his "Charlie Rose" talk show announced they were pulling the show from their scheduled.

Rose did not immediately respond to request for comment from TheWrap.

"It is essential that these women know I hear them and that I deeply apologize for my inappropriate behavior". Some of the accounts are lurid, alleging Rose would travel with some of the women or invite them to work at his house, and then try to lure them to see him while he showered or otherwise approach them in a sexual manner. Godfrey Ryan says when she complained to Yvette Vega, the show's executive producer, she dismissed it as "Charlie being Charlie".

Morrissey Defends Kevin Spacey; Says The Actor Is Being 'Attacked Unnecessarily'
Anthony Rapp broke decades of silence to allege Spacey made sexual advances towards him after a party in NY in 1986. That's why it does not sound very credible to me. "It seems to me that Spacey has been attacked unncessarily".

"I am not okay", his co-host Gayle King stated before adding that she hasn't been sleeping since the Washington Post reported eight women accused Rose of harassing them sexually.

CBS, on which Rose has co-anchored CBS This Morning since 2012, has suspended the journalist pending an investigation. Rose said he has great respect for SUNY Oswego President Deborah Stanley and the university.

Rose was one of the best-regarded names in TV news.

Three women went on the record in the Post's story.

Google Tracks Location Data Of Users Who Didn't Want To Be Tracked
Although Google is preparing to end the program, the findings may create a distrust between Google's Android and some users. Google says using Cell ID codes could help further improve the speed and performance of message delivery on Android phones.

"In light of yesterday's revelations, PBS has terminated its relationship with Charlie Rose and cancelled distribution of his programs", the public broadcaster said in a statement.

King has not yet spoken to Rose about the allegations but said, "I intend to speak to him certainly later today". O'Donnell also said that women can not achieve equality in the workplace until men take responsibility for their behaviour. Kelly confirmed this in Settle for More, which detailed his alleged inappropriate behavior.

She said it has been hard for her to balance her friendship with the man against the allegations against him. I always felt that I was pursuing shared feelings, even though I now realize I was mistaken. Rose hosted "CBS This Morning" each weekday and was a contributor to "60 Minutes".

One of the report's authors, Amy Brittain, tweeted after her story was published to say her inbox was "already flooded with women who have had similar, disturbing encounters with Charlie Rose".
