Brutal new The Last of Us Part II Trailer introduces us to some new characters

Sony and Naughty Dog have unleashed a new trailer for The Last of Us Part II, and if you were hoping the sequel would be a bit lighter than its harrowing predecessor, well, keep hoping. The visual fidelity in the trailer is insane compared to what Naughty Dog has previously shown in their games like Uncharted 4: A Thief's End or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

The passage of time seems to have been kind to this story, and I'm so excited for whenever The Last of Us: Part II comes out. The game was unveiled with a trailer that showed the return of the game's Ellie and Joel, five years after the first game.
