Paris Game Week 2017 Reveals New God Of War Gameplay

It looks sublime, with a luscious rendering of feudal Japan, replete with pagodas, lanterns, and bamboo forests; then you have the less handsome bits like Mongol warlords marauding through, burning villages and killing folk. Set during the period in which the Mongols invaded the island of Tsushima, it's up to you to fight back, though you'll be given some freedom as to how you do it. Give the reveal trailer a watch below. But, honorable tactics won't lead you to victory.

Unfortunately, Sucker Punch hasn't revealed a release date for the game.
