India Today reported late on Thursday that Salgaonkar had in fact been questioned by an International Cricket Council (ICC) committee at an undisclosed location. "I guess it will garner 337 (runs)", Salgaoncar disclosed. Meanwhile, as of now Salgaonkar has no access to the ground. He is also accused to have allowed the reporters on the pitch and tamper with it. Under BCCI rules no unaccredited persons, including journalists, are allowed near the pitch.

The reporters asked Salgaonkar if they could get some bounce on the pitch. "I told you this will be a 340-run wicket either way", he was quoted as saying.

Salgaoncar represented Maharashtra as a fast bowler from 1971-82. We will do betting on that.
