A fire has broken out Friday (Aug 11) on board a train at London's Underground, and the Oxford Circus Tube station in the centre of the British capital's main shopping district has been shut down, reports said.
Commuter Katie Watts posted to Twitter: 'Just got off the tube at Oxford Circus and the train across the platform was on fire, got evacuated out'.
"Station remains closed. Cause of fire not now being treated as suspicious", British Transport Police said in a tweet. "Four people were treated for smoke inhalation with two taken to hospital as a precaution".

On the Russian territory, a joint mission under the Open Skies Treaty was conducted jointly by the United Kingdom and Norway. The treaty - which was introduced after the Cold War allows 34 states to conduct unarmed flights over other countries.
Nigel Holness, London Underground's director of network operations, said "the cause of the smoke was an electrical fault under one of the carriages, which resulted in a small fire that was quickly extinguished".
People in carriages could be seen covering their faces as the smoke moved through the Tube train during this morning's rush hour.
The driver reassured everyone and called for calm after the train stopped when the emergency alarm was pulled in the tunnel before proceeding to Oxford Station. One woman looked at me and said "don't go down there".

"But once I got away from Oxford Circus and I reached Great Marlborough Street I checked Twitter and saw that there was a fire".
British Transport Police said its officers were on the scene but the cause "is not now being treated as suspicious". Bakerloo line is on fire and you can smell the black smoke going through.
