While "Wonder Woman" crossed the $400 million mark in the Northern American box office, the same thing can not be said about its performance globally. While it is true that the box office success of the DC and Warner Bros. movie can be attributed to the fact that it is the first-ever live-action movie about the popular female superhero, positive reviews and word-of-mouth have helped in pushing "Wonder Woman" pass the $400 million-mark.
With $400 million, Wonder Woman is now Warner Bros.' third highest-grossing domestic release ever, behind only The Dark Knight ($534.8M) and The Dark Knight Rises ($448.1M). All three top properties hail from the studio's DC division.
Wonder Woman has truly wiped the floor with the other entries in the DCEU, sitting in first place domestically ahead of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which has accumulated $330 million.
