Taylor Swift demands $1 million worth of damage (while David Mueller is asking for $3 million) and that's because she thinks that if the verdict will be in her favor this will represent a victory for all women.

Pop star Taylor Swift appeared at a Denver courtroom on Monday to see her lawyers select a panel of jurors for a trial against a former radio personality who allegedly groped her four years ago during a photo shoot.

Mueller, wearing a dark suit, sat at the plaintiff's table with his back turned to Swift, who sat at a nearby table with her mother, Andrea Swift, and their attorneys.

The groping incident took place on June 2, 2013, during a meet-and-greet session before her concert in Denver.

"It was not an accident, it was completely intentional, and I have never been so sure of anything in my life", the pop star said in a deposition.

Yet the 25-year-old's playing time could be limited by Nelson Semedo's arrival and the potential move of Paulinho from Guangzhou Evergrande.

Two days later, he was sacked from KYGO - and two years later, he sued Swift claiming what he asserts was a false accusation caused him to lose his $150,000 a year job. A month after Mueller filed his suit, Swift countersued him for assault and battery. Swift and Mueller have sued one another over the alleged groping incident.

Mueller says the photo only shows him trying to jump into the frame.

Both are expected to testify during the trial.

Opened arguments were expected by Tuesday afternoon. He and his girlfriend were escorted out of the arena and a member of Swift's team called his boss.

But experts and advocates believe Swift may have chose to take the case into the public spotlight as a symbolic move meant to empower other women in similar situations. One said on her questionnaire that she found Ms Swift "petty and dishonest".

The sanctions resolution targets North Korea's primary exports, including coal, iron, iron ore, lead, lead ore and seafood. North Korea pulled out of the talks in 2009 to protest global condemnation of a long-range rocket launch.

Mueller has always denied the allegations, however he was sacked from his radio station after Swift's manager complained about the alleged assault.

According to Baldridge, Mueller had destroyed five laptops or cell phones that may have contained recorded evidence of his meeting with KYGO executives, possibly including other references to the DJ's behavior that the radio station was not happy with.

Taylor Swift and a former radio host aren't looking at each other in court as jury selection proceeds in their lawsuits involving a groping claim. She says she does not know Mueller and has no incentive to target him or to fabricate a story. Jury selection is due to be completed on Tuesday (08Aug17).

In addition to Swift, Mueller named her mother and a member of her team as defendants in the lawsuit.

Mueller's attorney, Gabriel McFarland, argues that Mueller may have been misidentified after someone else touched Swift.
