Mollie King has signed up to Strictly Come Dancing

"It's going to be a lot of hard work but I'm ready for the challenge".

The glittery staple of every year returns to BBC One next month as a whole host of new celebrities get to grips with dancing.

They said: "There are now just a handful of famous faces who are yet to sign on the dotted line to take part in the 15th series of the show".

"I can't actually believe I'm lucky enough to be taking part in it this year", she said. I'm going to give it my all.

Mollie will be following in the footsteps of bandmate Frankie Bridge, who came runner up in the 12th series in 2014. "I'm very competitive so watch out, other contestants".

She added that she would be up for having a "cheeky spray tan" and wearing sparkles, saying it was a chance to be a "princess".

King (30) said that she had begged for a chance to be involved in the programme.

The "Strictly Come Dancing" line-up is being kept under wraps but it is "almost complete", according to an insider.

There are three new dancers joining Strictly: Amy Dowden, from South Wales, Australian Dianne Buswell and Nadiya Bychkova from Ukraine.
